Red Dead, The Last of Us Fans Urged Not To Miss ‘10/10’ Game

That’s a bold claim!

A gamer has claimed that this action game is not only 10/10, but it’s better than Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of Us, which is a bold claim indeed.

The fact that anyone would say that an action-adventure game is as good as, or perhaps even better than, the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of Us is worth paying attention to, whether you agree or not.

While both are two different games, Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us are amongst the best of their respective genres. In fact, many might say that they’re two of the best games of all time.

So, what is this game that’s being held with such high regard, I hear you ask? That game is 2024’s Star Wars: Outlaws from Ubisoft.

It’s no secret that Star Wars: Outlaws had a troubled launch, so much so that the game had to technically go back to the proverbial drawing board to receive bug fixes and gameplay improvements over a series of meaty updates.

From what I hear, and judging by what Reddit user zachnicodemous says, Star Wars: Outlaws is in a much better state now.

“I just finished Star Wars: Outlaws; it’s up there with Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Last of Us, for me. 10/10! I’m not even a Star Wars fan,” they exclaimed.

“Just as the title says. I heard this was a good sci-fi game, but I also heard all the bad press it got at launch, so I waited until December 2024 to start it. I absolutely loved it,” they continued.

I don’t personally agree that it’s better than Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Last of Us, but at the end of the day, it’s a personal preference, so neither is right or wrong.

“Same, I got massive Red Dead Redemption 2 vibes from this game. It's become one of my favourites as well,” said taavir40.

“I started playing this three days ago and have already played for 24.5 hours. Expectations exceeded. It’s so good!” replied SabotageMahal.

“This was my first ever piece of Star Wars media I've interacted with. I fell in love with it and have since watched all the movies and am going through The Mandalorian at the moment, and I’m loving all of it,” explained Fay_in_the_Trees.

“It's 10 times better than Red Dead Redemption 2, it's got better graphics, immersion, physics and realism. Should have been GOTY,” claimed ThaMasterG, who very likely is dealing out a heavy dose of sarcasm.

Star Wars: Outlaws is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.
