Amidst the ongoing development of Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games is still finding time to update Red Dead Redemption 2’s online mode, Red Dead Online.
Admittedly, Red Dead Online’s support pales in comparison to what GTA Online receives but hey, they do say that you should never look a gift horse in the mouth.
Red Dead Online players can currently enjoy the ‘Role Bonuses’ event which, as is tradition with such events, features a free limited-time community-inspired outfit that you won’t want to miss out on downloading.
The latest outfit was dreamt up by fan OhhCurly__ and it “puts a bold twist on frontier fashion” with its “eye-catching purple and black look”.

If you want to secure this outfit, you can do so either via the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue or local Tailors for free.
The outfit includes the Tiltham Hat, Opulent Vest (Male), Chambliss Corset (Female), Salcedo Shirt (Male), Goodale Shirtwaist (Female), Bandito Pants, Blackburn Boots (Male), and Aguirre Boots (Female).
You can then also nab a pair of Bullseye Gloves from Madam Nazar for free too.
Is a new outfit going to revolutionise Red Dead Online? Well, no, it’s not but it’s a lot better than nothing.
Of course, there’s plenty else to entice you back into Red Dead Online in this update.
There’s double RDO$ and XP on Collector Set Sales, Sample Sales, Bounty Hunter Missions, Moonshine Sales, and Trader Sales.
From now until 19 May, if you rank 20 Moonshiners, you can also nab an offer for 50% off any Established or Distinguished Role Item.
From 20 to 26 May, you’ll then be required to rank 20 Naturalists to secure 40% off an Established or Distinguished Naturalist Role Item.
Finally, from 27 May to 2 June, complete a Legendary Bounty Mission and receive the offer of 40% off an Established or Distinguished Bounty Hunter Role Item.
After that point, Red Dead Online’s new monthly update should drop.
