Red Dead Online continues to prove popular with those who like to cowpoke around in the Old West with friends, and their Thanksgiving event is now well underway, bring the season of family to the fore.
In the spirit of that generosity, free food, drink and provisions are available at Saloons until 1 December, while Persistent Posse Setup Fees are also waived for the same duration.
If you're feeling like a bit of a savage, you can also get out there and hunt your own Turkey to celebrate, though be warned, they aren't as easy to track and take down as you might think. It is worth it though, as butchers will pay 10x the usual rate of RDO$.
You can also pick up some very time-limited loot that you'll need to move fast to get your hands on, so here's everything you need to know about how to do so.

A Sharp Bandana For Your Red Dead Look Collection
One of the coolest sets of rewards available to players as part of Rockstar's Thanksgiving celebration is the Rexroad Outfit, which is returning from the Outlaw Pass 2 for a limited-time.
To collect all of it, you'll need to complete several tasks as follows:
- Rexroad Coat: Log in as a Level 20 Trader, or reach that level during the event
- Rexroad Pants: Complete all Daily Trader Challenges
- Rexroad Boots: Complete a Trader Sale
- Belcourt Tinted Spectacles: Participate in the Trade Route Free Roam Event
- Rexroad Shirt and Vest: Craft an item at your campfire
The final part of the outfit can be completed this week only with the Rexroad Bandana and Rexroad Hat available to players. Happily, all you have to do is log in between now and 1 December, and it should be added to your inventory automatically (with 50 Small Game Arrows).
There are plenty of other things going on that you should be aware of, particularly if you're a fan of receiving more rewards than normal.
The Hardcore Shootout is the Featured Series until the event ends on 1 December, with triple rewards for those who play across RDO$, Gold and XP. The aforementioned Trade Route Free Roam Event is also offering triple rewards, so it's a great time to grind if you're short on funds.
Everything draws to a close on 1 December, though Rockstar will likely do something similar for Christmas, so we won't have too long to wait for more holiday fun.
