The best day to get a discount on the PS5 Pro has been revealed, and you don't need to wait much longer.

For those of you kicking yourself for not stealing a Black Friday bargain, there's still time to save money on the coveted console.

On Reddit, a gamer asked the community whether or not they should wait until the January sales to pick up a PS5 Pro on offer.

"Does anyone know if PS5s often go in the January sales here in the UK?" they asked. "I suddenly really want one, but I don't know whether to wait or not?"

In response, people have been sharing their top tips for securing a discount on the beloved console this holiday season, and it appears Smyths could be the place to go.

"I'm in Ireland and picked up a Pro last week on the day before the sale ended [in Smyths]," one social media user shared. "The guy in the shop told me they're due to go on sale again December 18th-ish."

Another wrote, "Black Friday sale is still on at PlayStation Direct, you should consider that deal now, it ends on December 18. Digital: £294.99, Disc: £389.99, and Pro: £609.99."
