If you want to claim loads of free cards in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket and other bonuses, you’ll want to take advantage of this offer.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is the latest hit mobile game from the beloved property. Inspired by the physical version of the card game, this digitised game lets you collect hundreds of wonderful pieces of artwork all on a singular device.

Of course, other than collecting wonderful cards you can also partake in intense battles against other Pokémon TCG Pocket trainers. Being a free-to-play mobile game, it will come as no surprise that there are plenty of enticements for you to spend real-world money.

That said, you can easily play Pokémon TCG Pocket by not spending a penny but that might only get you so far or at least, where you want to get to very slowly. However, if you want a boost to get those precious booster packs, then you’re in the right place.

This week, we talked about many ways that you can claim free store credit to spend in Pokémon TCG Pocket to give you a nice headstart but there is another way to get ahead that you’ll want to check out.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has a Premium Pass which for £7.99 grants you an extra pack to open per day. You also gain exclusive missions that can earn you additional packs as well as in-game currency and time savers. You’ll also get cosmetic items to make you look extra snazzy when battling other trainers online.

Whether the £7.99 monthly subscription fee is of value to you will solely depend on how much you play Pokémon TCG Pocket. Thankfully, to see whether or not this premium tier is for you, there is a free two-week trial.

Basically, you’ll get roughly half of the monthly Premium Pass for free during the first two weeks. Once that two-week period is over, you will be charged.

During the trial, you’ll be getting all the full benefits as if you were a paying customer. You might very well decide to continue your subscription once the trial is over.

If you have no intention of continuing the subscription, you can simply activate the trial, claim all the benefits and then cancel 24 hours before the trial is over and if you do that, you will not be charged.

As an Android user, I can only talk about my experience on the Google Play store. Before you confirm the trial, you will need to choose your card payment of choice but that doesn't mean that you’ll pay now. This is for after the trial period.

When you confirm your Premium Pass subscription, the Google Play store will offer you a reminder notification for you to cancel the subscription before the trial ends. You will need to do this at least 24 hours in advance.

You can either cancel your subscription in-game by pressing the Premium Pass ticket which is at the very top of the home screen to the right of your profile picture or you can cancel via Google Play store settings.

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Premium Pass two-week trial is risk-free as long as you remember to cancel, assuming that you don't want it to continue. I’ve taken advantage of this trial myself.

It’s perhaps worth keeping in mind that this trial might not be around forever. Pokémon TCG Pocket is out now on Android and iOS.
