PlayStation is working on a brand-new PlayStation 5 "Pro" controller with a raft of cool new features, according to a recent report.
Prolific leaker Tom Henderson reports for Try Hard Guides that PlayStation will unveil the "genuine professional controller" in the next few weeks. This enhanced controller is believed to be similar to the Xbox Elite Controller, in that it features removable analog sticks and rear paddle triggers.
It's currently rumoured that Sony will hold another event towards the end of June, where it's hoped/believed that we'll finally get an update on the release date for God Of War: Ragnarok. It's likely that the PS5 Pro controller would also be shown off at this time.

According to Henderson, the codename for the Pro controller is "Hunt." While the leaker was unable to share pictures of the new controller, he claims to have seen it, and says that it looks a lot like the existing DualSense - just with the aforementioned bells and whistles.
It's also rumoured that PlayStation is planning to release a brand-new PS5 Pro console, though this enhanced hardware is supposedly much further away than the new controller.
According to rumours shared by RedGamingTech on YouTube, PlayStation is working on an improved model that will apparently come with even more impressive specs than the standard PS5, boasting enhanced performance, slicker resolutions, a better experience for PSVR/PSVR 2 titles, and massively improved ray-tracing.
RedGamingTech's claims match up with a report shared by fellow YouTuber Moore's Law Is Dead Law Is Dead, who claimed last year that the PS5 Pro will most likely release in 2024 for around £600-£700.

It might be slightly optimistic to expect a brand-new line of consoles in the next few years when so many people are struggling to get a a regular PS5, but given Sony loves to release new models a few years into a console's life, we wouldn't bet against the PS5 Pro arriving eventually.
