PlayStation users can grab a major freebie right now, no PS Plus needed

PlayStation are giving a way a freebie you don't want to miss - and PS Plus isn't required.

There’s no denying that PlayStation Plus subscribers have it best when it comes to freebies. This month, all PS Plus subscribers were treated to Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2, and Superhot which is a very respectable line-up yet simultaneously pales in comparison to this month’s bumper Extra and Premium tier drops.

Extra and Premium subscribers collectively gained access to a whopping 23 titles including gems like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition. Today though, I bring you a great rarity: A freebie that all PlayStation owners can access. No PlayStation Plus required.

The countdown is well and truly on. Check out the latest God Of War Ragnarök trailer below.

As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, Sony is offering six months of Apple TV+ to all PlayStation users. There is one catch. PlayStation 5 users can grab a six month free trial, but PlayStation 4 users will only be eligible for a three month trial. The offer is available in most territories, including the US and UK, but you only have until 19 October to grab this offer. That’s tomorrow, just in case you’ve lost track of time.

To grab the deal, you need to download and open the Apple TV app on your PlayStation and then sign in with your Apple ID. If you don’t already have an Apple ID, you’ll be prompted to create one. Sign in and there you have it, a free trial of Apple TV+ is yours.

The plan renews for $4.99 after the trial period so when your six / three month trial period is up, don’t forget to cancel the subscription if you don’t wish to be charged. If you’re already subscribed to Apple TV, I’m afraid there’s no free period for you. This applies to first-time subscribers only.
