Christmas is fast approaching and in between arguing over the dinner table and sleeping off the multiple pigs in blankets you’ve managed to scoff down, you may want to get stuck into a game.
Luckily, Xbox has made that possible by adding two new surprise titles to its Game Pass lineup for this month.

Arriving next week, on 12 December, these two games will be arriving on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for Xbox Series X/S users.
So without further ado, let us take a look at the two titles up for grabs.
First is For the King 2, a tactical RPG and sequel to 2017’s For the King.
Mixing elements of strategy, JRPG combat and roguelike elements, For the King 2 will see you battle against Fahrul's tyrannical Queen as you fight to unravel her beloved secret.
“Once beloved by her people, Queen Rosomon has turned against her subjects, casting them into servitude in the darkness of Fahrul’s mines whilst building alliances with sinister and malevolent forces.”
Available to play solo or with a party of up to four players, it is up to you to bring an end to her tyrannical reign.
Joining For the King 2 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members is Hunt: Showdown 1896.
This open-world extraction shooter takes place in the corrupted backwaters lost to history and it is up to you to fight against a timeless evil.
Again, Hunt: Showdown 1896 can be played solo or with friends but however you play, you will have to face twisted monsters and the fellow ruthless Hunters who stand in the way of your hard-earned bounty.
"With the Corruption spreading across the lands, twisting people into malformed monstrosities, Hunters from all walks of life answer the call for blood, revenge, and good old-fashioned greed.
Armed to the teeth with lead and steel, it isn't just the dead who find themselves looking down the barrel of a gun."
Both For the King 2 and Hunt: Showdown 1896 will be added to Xbox Game Pass on 12 December.
