GAMINGbible Awards 2024: Vote for your favourite games of the year

It's time to vote

The GAMINGbible Team

The GAMINGbible Team

They said it couldn't be done. They said 2023 was the biggest year for gaming in decades, and that it couldn't possibly be topped.

Okay, I'm not entirely sure who "they" are, but the sentiment was certainly there. I mean, how do you follow a year that contained Baldur's Gate 3, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, and Super Mario Wonder?

Whether or not 2024 actually surpassed 2023 is a matter of opinion, but nobody can argue that this year hasn't come pretty damn close. This past year has seen gamers buried under an avalanche of top-quality AAA blockbusters, thought-provoking indies, and all manner of other goodies.

Here at GAMINGbible we thought it was about time we put together our very own awards, since literally everybody else and their mum is doing it. Our expert panel of judges (the people who work here that I cornered while they were trying to make their morning brew) have agreed on the nominees across six categories. But we want you, dear reader, to choose the winners in each category.

Scroll down below to take a look at the six categories and cast your vote in each. You'll be able to vote from now (9 December) until 20 December, and we'll announce the winners in each category a few days after that. Simple enough, right?

Action Adventure Game of The Year

We've seen some brilliant action adventure games this year, from Call Of Duty's staggering return to form, to a brand-new Zelda game. But which was your favourite?

1/6

RPG of The Year

2024 has been a corker for RPGs, and I reckon this might be the hardest category. Was Dragon's Dogma 2 the game for you? Or Dragon Age: The Veilguard? Let us know!

2/6

Indie Game of The Year

Don't overlook the indies! There have been so many great games from smaller studios this year that it was almost impossible to narrow it down to just five.

3/6

Narrative of The Year

Some narratives can only be told through video games, and these are the very best examples this year had to offer. Which one stuck with you?

4/6

Most Anticipated Release

2025 is already shaping up to be massive. But which game are you most looking forward to? Surprise us all by not picking GTA VI.

5/6

Ultimate Game of The Year

This is it. The big one. Which 2024 game towered above the rest? Cast your vote and let us know!

6/6

Don't forget! You only have until 20 December. And if you're struggling to decide what to pick, I'd recommend taking a look at our reviews to jog your memory.

See you in a few weeks for the winners.
