The major console manufacturers are always looking for sneaky ways to get us to prioritise their hardware, particularly if you're the type of person to play across several systems at once (that may or may not be me).
Whether that be through tempting sales on some of our favourite games or offers that allow us to get free content within those games, there's usually something out there to take advantage of if you know where to look.
Xbox is no exception, and they have a ton of offers on right now, including the Beyond Black Friday sale, which is carrying the fun on after November's major deals, and The Game Awards sale, where many of the releases that were honoured at the show are available at reduced rate to the consumer.
That's not all though, as it turns out it's possible to get your hands on some credit for the Xbox store, without having to buy anything in the first place.

Xbox Free Store Credit for Using Bing
As first reported by True Achievements, it's possible to pick up free credit for the Xbox store via completing searches on Bing on PC, mobile or Xbox, with double rewards for doing so for the next two weeks.
The last time Microsoft and Xbox ran this offer was back in November, but they've brought it back in earnest, with the deal set to run from 15 December to the last day of the year on 31 December.
The major thing you'll need to be aware of as the player is that you need to activate the offer to start earning your points. To do so, head over to the Microsoft Rewards website and find the Double Your Points offer, then you can select it and set it live from there.
This also has the knock-on effect of doubling the rewards cap for those who activate, so whilst you are earning points twice as quickly, you can also earn twice as many each day to add to your collection.
The other caveat to all of this is that there are a few regions being left out of te proverbial party. The offer is open to almost everyone, but players in India, Colombia, New Zealand, and Mexico are not eligible.
Now, obviously Bing isn't the search engine of choice for most people, but considering they're essentially paying us to use it, it's well worth a go in our book.
