Xbox Drops Easy Free Store Credit You Can Claim Now

Those points soon add up

PlayStation Stars may now have closed its doors, but Microsoft Rewards is still going strong.

As I’m sure you’re aware, Microsoft Rewards allows users to earn points which can eventually be exchanged for Xbox Store credit, competition entries, Game Pass subscriptions, or even entire consoles.

It’s oh so very easy to earn points.

You will, of course, earn points via all of your Microsoft Store and Xbox Store purchases, so do make sure that you’re signed into your account whilst shopping.

So too can you earn points though via completing easy tasks.

Using Microsoft Edge, for example, is one way to earn some bonus points, as is completing daily quizzes via the Microsoft Rewards dashboard.

You can also earn points via running your searches via Bing, something that’s always worth bringing up as a reminder.

At the moment, you earn three points per search with a maximum of 30 points per day for Level 1 members and 150 for Level 2 members.

As spotted by Reddit user ps1aracroftoes though, you may be able to benefit from a limited time offer.

“Ahh thank you Microsoft,” they wrote alongside an accompanying image which reads, “Get 100 points with search bar. Day 1 complete! Search with search bar for 2 more days to earn 100 points.”

There’s no word on how widespread this offer is, but I certainly recommend logging into Microsoft Rewards and having a little browse on the ‘Earn’ tab.

If it is there, it’s a quick and easy way to rack up some points.

“I just got my 100 points, now I can remove that search bar from my desktop,” replied InvisibleSpaceVamp to the OP.

“Yeah I saw this one yesterday, sneaky as the +100 points in the top corner didn't appear until after I used it for the second day today,” added another user.

Every point saved is a step closer to securing that free store credit, so don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
