The battle of the consoles comes down to many things and although it is mainly to do with exclusive games, its hardware also plays a large part in things.
For me, the DualSense controller is my controller of choice thanks to its sleek design and it fits perfectly in my abnormally small hands.
However, for others, the Xbox controller is the beast, the OG if you will.
Regardless of your choice, it seems as though Xbox’s surprise new hardware is taking this competition onboard by releasing a controller which bears a striking resemblance to PlayStation’s DualSense.

Designed by Hyperkin, the brand-new Xbox controller is aptly called The Competitor and unlike other Xbox controllers, its D-pad has been moved to the left whilst its left thumbstick has vacated to the bottom of the controller.
Even its colour scheme matches that of the DualSense but users can expect the Xbox logo to be smack bang in the top centre of the controller rather than a touchpad.
The Competitor is a wired controller for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC and users can expect stick drift to not be an issue with this one.
Set to release this October, this brand-new Xbox controller will retail at $49.99 and its complete feature list has been released and includes the following:

In the meantime, the DualSense controller is right there.
