Xbox Game Pass subscribers get a new game worthy of Game of the Year, hailed as “Absolute Peak”.
Whether you subscribe to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, there’s plenty of value with each service. Well, despite Xbox’s new CEO stating that Game Pass has become too expensive.
That being said, I’d assume that if you’re paying for Xbox Game Pass, you at least think it offers some value; otherwise, why are you giving Microsoft money? Anyway, one of the latest inclusions to the subscription service is considered to be one of the best games in recent years.
The game in question is the 2025 indie sensation from Supergiant Games, none other than Hades II. On the aggregate website, Metacritic, Hades II scored an almighty 95, more than earning the “Must-Play” accolade. What's more, on Steam, it's rated "Overwhelmingly Positive" from over 62,000 user reviews. So it most certainly has gamers' seal of approval.
So, if there’s one game that you should consider checking out on Xbox Game Pass right now, it's the excellent roguelike, Action RPG, Hades II, as endorsed by Reddit users.
