The way you earn in-store credit on Xbox is changing for the better, especially if you play on multiple platforms.

If you’re new to Xbox you need to check out the Xbox Rewards Hub, as it’s a quick and easy way to rack some in-store credit through the gift card prizes.

You can then use that in-store credit to grab some awesome new games, like Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2

It’s undergone quite a few changes over the last few months, and not all of them good, but if you play on Xbox or PC I promise you’ll like this change.

Rolling out over the next few months PC players will be able to take part in the weekly challenges.

Weekly challenges are the simple task of playing a game five days in a row every week, and it doesn’t have to be the same game, just as long as it’s on your Xbox account.

Up to now it’s only been available to console players, netting them 500 points per week as long as they don’t miss one.

Now the weekly challenges will be slowly made available to PC players, and the best part is it’s a completely separate challenge to the console variation, meaning if you use the same account on Xbox and PC you’ll be able to earn 1,000 points every week, plus whatever else you earn alongside it.

Keep in mind that a £5 gift card costs just shy of 6,000 points, so it’ll take much less time to rack up a decent balance to spend on in-store credit.

Of course if you don’t play on PC this won’t be much use to you, but it’s a cool addition nonetheless and hopefully a sign of more positive changes coming to the Xbox Rewards Hub in future, like the possibility of punch cards returning.
