Xbox users who play on console and PC are going to be getting more chances to earn in-store credit.

As I’m sure most Xbox fans will know you can earn a load of points on your console by playing games and making purchases.

It’s changed quite a bit over the past few months, with the way you earn points getting harder and less of an incentive to buy new games as the punch card system got dropped ages ago.

The Microsoft Rewards app also changed to the Xbox Rewards Hub, which came with its own list of changes.

Rest assured though you can still earn points for your account which can be exchanged for Xbox store vouchers, and if you’re playing on PC you now have more opportunities to earn them.

Every week you’re tasked with playing five days in a row, and once you’ve got five days under your belt you’ll be given 250 points.

If you play on PC this option wasn’t available to you, instead you’d get a measly 10 points for playing a PC game on your account, until now.

Xbox has released a new update that allows PC users to play for five days in a row for the same amount of points.

While this is a huge win for PC players, it’s also a win for those who also play on consoles, as they count as separate challenges.

This means you could easily earn 500 points a week if you own a PC and an Xbox console, making it quicker than ever to rack up a good balance and exchange it for prizes.

Don’t hesitate to take advantage of these changes, as there’s not telling how the way you earn points will change in the future, after all it’s essentially free money at the end of the day.
