Xbox fans are praising a “bloody amazing” game now available on the Game Pass subscription service at no extra cost.

Depending on the tier, Xbox Game Pass can offer hundreds of titles to play whether you choose to download directly or stream in an instant. It also offers great value for money with a single monthly subscription cost being far less than most full-priced AAA games.

From first-party games such as the entire Halo series and the upcoming Indiana Jones and The Great Circle to indie darlings that may not have been on your radar, there’s something for everyone with Xbox Game Pass. It even offers select free DLC as an additional perk.

Released earlier this year, one recent inclusion of Xbox Game Pass has been praised by gamers on Reddit saying that it’s a “bloody amazing” title. The game in question is the indie darling developed and published by RedCandleGames, Nine Sols.

“Nine Sols is a lore-rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer featuring Sekiro-inspired deflection-focused combat,” reads the description of the game.

“Embark on a journey of eastern fantasy, explore the land once home to an ancient alien race, and follow a vengeful hero’s quest to slay the 9 Sols, formidable rulers of this forsaken realm.”

“I’m playing it right now, it's bloody amazing!” said UncleObli with LoveMeSomeBerserk adding “I’m a few hours in. I’m really digging it. The atmosphere, story, and combat are all great.”

“Nice, I'm really looking forward to this game,” said CopenhagenCalling.

“I’m definitely looking forward to this. It might be my winter break game after I beat Metaphor: ReFantzio,” replied Pleasant-Speed-9414.

If you’ve never played Nine Souls and you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, it might be worth checking it out. Nine Sols is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
