Xbox users are able to pick up $5 of free credit right now.

For those who have played Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on Xbox consoles, Microsoft is now issuing out free credit in the form of $5 Microsoft Store cards to spend on anything that the store sells.

Double XP tokens are also being issued for all players, which allow you to rank up your level, weapons, and battle pass at a much faster rate.

Xbox users have received a message confirming the offer, which reads: “Thanks for participating in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Campaign. You've qualified to receive the Dual 2XP Pack (useable in-game) and a gift card, which you can use in the Microsoft store to buy Games, Add-ons, and more.”

The message also states that you must redeem the offer by 1 June, 2026, and that the credit must be spent within 90 days of redemption.

With Summer Game Fest commencing in June, and presumably Xbox’s Summer Sale also coming at some point nearby to that, it’ll be a good time to put that free credit towards a new or discounted game.

Call Of Duty Games Won't Appear On Xbox Game Pass Day 1 From This November

The news comes following Microsoft’s announcement of a reshuffle which has seen the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate reduced from $29.99 to $22.99.

However, this came at the cost of some Day 1 games being scaled back, including Call of Duty being left off the service for around a year.

“Beginning this year, future Call of Duty titles won’t join Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch,” the post reads. “New Call of Duty games will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass during the following holiday season (about a year later), while existing Call of Duty titles already in the library will continue to be available.”

Despite Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 being the fifth best-selling video game in the United States for 2025, it was reported that Microsoft lost $300m in sales as a result of making the game part of its all-you-can-play service.

With the new system, it would mean that Call of Duty 2026—which will allegedly be the next installment in the Modern Warfare series—would not drop for Xbox Game Pass users until late 2027.
