Xbox users finally have a feature they’ve wanted for years, but many thought they’d never see.
Whether it’s PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo, consoles are always evolving by adding new and improved features, as well as the necessary stability patches. However, the latest Xbox update on the way is quite literally a game-changer.
In preparation for the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X being able to access your Steam library due to running on the Windows 11 operating system, the Steam library is now being integrated with PC Game Pass.

“Whether you’re on a Windows PC or a handheld device, your Xbox library, hundreds of Game Pass titles, and all your installed games from leading PC storefronts will now be at your fingertips,” reads a post on Xbox Wire.
At this time, this feature is only available for members of the Xbox Insiders program starting this week, but Microsoft intends to make it available to everyone later this year, when the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X are expected to launch.
As you can imagine, this new feature has gone down well with the Xbox and PC gaming community.
“I've got games from the Microsoft store, Steam, GOG, and Epic Games, so it would be wonderful to have all of these on a single app without having to open launchers for each,” said Redditor whatintheballs95.

“Things are ramping up for the future Xbox and PC handheld,” replied Spheromancer.
“I cannot wait for this to roll out,” declared SelectivelyGood.
“If I can play my Steam library on my Xbox, that would be a total game changer,” exclaimed jackdatbyte. Can you imagine how awesome that would be?
When the full release date drops for the Xbox Game Pass and Steam integration, we’ll let you know. The same goes for the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X release dates.
