The weekend is about to begin and to celebrate, why not dive into a brand-new Xbox release at no extra cost?

With games becoming so expensive in recent years, sometimes it is worth trying before you buy and luckily, Xbox has given players the chance to do so with a selection of free games available to download right now.

Check out a brand-new game from the developers of Paradise Killer in the list below!

Although there are plenty to choose from, we have chosen seven interesting titles which you could play this weekend and who knows? You may find a new favourite.

So without further ado, let's take a look at some of the games available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users.

Into the Restless Ruins - a Scottish folklore-inspired roguelike deckbuilder where you will need to use your deck of cards to grow a labyrinth of ruins and then auto-battle your way through them.

Atelier Yumia - in a world where alchemy is banned, you will take on the role of Yumia as she and her companions confront memories in real-time combat. Perfect for JRPG fans.

Antro - “a rhythm, action, puzzle, and 2.5D platforming game” where music is your ally as you race to overthrow an underground gang and start your own revolution.

Little Big Adventure - a remake of the 1994 game but this time with better visuals, new music and original composer, and smoother gameplay.

Adventures of a Cat in Space - a casual point & click adventure game perfect for the whole family. Solve puzzles and explore a galaxy as you unlock songs and find your way back to Earth.

Promise Mascot Agency - from the creators of Paradise Killer, explore a cursed Japanese town and recruit mascot friends in this open-world narrative adventure.

REPLAY BOYS - in this visual novel, you will be in charge of managing an unruly boy band as you get them in the spotlight, deny rumours, and stop them from killing each other as they make it to the top.
