Xbox Game Pass users can enjoy three new games to download and play this week.
Xbox usually dripfeeds the new games it periodically adds to the service, with new games being announced and then added over a series of weeks throughout the month.
This month, 13 new games are being added to Xbox Game Pass, with three of them available from this week.

This week, Console, PC, and Cloud users of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can enjoy The Ascent, Minami Lane, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 to play on their platform of choice.
If you’re unaware of what these games are, The Ascent is a solo and co-op shooter set in a cyberpunk setting, following the mysterious collapse of a megacorporation that used to control the futuristic world. It’s available now on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Minami Lane is a management simulation game set on a Japanese-inspired road, where you create and manage your own street, make sure everyone is happy, and watch villagers live their lives. It will be available from tomorrow, 9th July, on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Meanwhile, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a brand new skating game that is a remake of the third and fourth games in the Tony Hawk’s series. While the remake of the first two games was made by Vicarious Visions, this collection is instead made by Iron Galaxy.

It will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from this Friday, 11 July.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the most expensive tier of Xbox Game Pass. It’s expected that all three of these games will come to Xbox Game Pass Standard in about a year’s time, making them available for folks on the cheaper tiers.
However, don’t expect them to hit Xbox Game Pass Core, as this tier is mostly reserved for accessing online play and only has a handful of games to play.
