Xbox has dropped three new demos that will help keep you busy this weekend.
Regardless of whether we play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo, it’s never nice wasting our money on a video game that we were looking forward to, only for it to suck.
This is why subscription services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass can be great ways to save money.

Sure, we have to pay for the subscription, but with the potential of playing hundreds of games in an instant, a single month can be much cheaper than a fully priced AAA game. However, let’s not forget about the benefits that a free playable demo brings.
Granted, we won't have access to the full game, but if we can play at least a snippet without parting with our cash, playable demos are usually the best way to help us decide whether a game is worth our time or not.
With that in mind, three new playable demos have dropped on the Xbox Marketplace that we can download today, and they include the once PlayStation 5 console exclusive, Final Fantasy XVI.
Below, you’ll find all the details on the new Xbox demos that you can download right now.
- Final Fantasy XVI: “Play the opening section of Final Fantasy XVI. Save data can be carried over to the full version of the game. After completing the opening section of the story, players can enjoy Final Fantasy XVI’s amazing action gameplay in the 'Eikonic Challenge' mode made specially for this demo.”
- Edens Zero - Trial Version: “This is a 3D action role-playing game based on the space fantasy comic/anime Edens Zero by Hiro Mashima, the creator of Fairy Tail and Rave Master. It is centred on Shiki Granbell and his friends' cosmos-spanning adventure. You can use your save data from the trial version to continue from where you left off in the final game.”
- Coffee Talk Tokyo Demo “is the newest instalment of the beloved coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator. It brings the warmth, heart, and delicious drinks from the previous games to an all-new café in Tokyo where humans and yokai alike share their stories.”
If none of the above games are your cup of coffee, just remember, there are tons more demos to check out on the Xbox Marketplace.
