Gamers everywhere looking to make their fortune should probably know: you've less than 24 hours left to nab $1 million in a staggering Xbox giveaway.

As I'm sure you know, Microsoft Rewards gifts users points for all sorts of basic tasks, from using Bing to search (ew) and making purchases on the Microsoft and Xbox stores. You can also earn points via Xbox Game Pass.

Most of the rewards are available are usually pretty small fry, but Microsoft is ending the year with the “Ultimate Giveaway,” which will reward one lucky gamer with a whopping $1,000,000 with its latest sweepstakes. There are also runner up prizes that'll net you $10,000 a pop. Not too shabby.

There are multiple ways to earn an entry. You can add the Microsoft Rewards extension to your browser, spend money on the Microsoft Store, purchase Call of Duty Points, and more. Each user can enter the sweepstakes no more than 200 times, and the first entry is free.

At the time of writing there are just 20 hours left to enter, so if you're feeling lucky and like the idea of starting the new year as a millionaire, you might as well give it a go.

On top of that, it's possible to earn up to 1000 points just by entering the draw, and those points can be exchanged for credit that can be spent on the Xbox store - so even the losers will end up better off than when they started. Just be sure to get in while you still can.
