Epic Games makes more than some countries do annually by selling V-Bucks for Fortnite. You need them to purchase the large majority of cosmetics in the game, and you even need them buy the in-game battle pass.
Right now, through an Xbox Game Pass offer, you can currently grab 1,000 V-Bucks, some extra goodies and access to Fortnite’s battle pass for a single, measly dollar.
By using a new account that has never had an Xbox Game Pass subscription before, you can take advantage of an offer that gives you an entire month for a dollar.
Usually, this would just net you a month of Xbox Game Pass, but Epic Games has teamed up with Microsoft to offer subscribers a month of Fortnite Crew for a limited time.

Best part is, as Fortnite Crew comes with the battle pass already redeemed, that means you can actually earn an extra 1,000 V-Bucks on top of the 1,000 you get as part of the deal.

Straightforward enough, right? Well, not for some people apparently, because Twitter user @BackersGamesF, who initially shared the deal, has stated that some people have attempted to refund the $1 they paid to take advantage of the deal.
This has resulted in users having their Fortnite Crew offer revoked, which… yeah, obviously? What did these people think was going to happen?
If you want to take advantage of the offer, the steps are extremely simple. All you have to do is sign up, redeem the Fortnite Crew offer, and then cancel your Xbox Game Pass auto-renewal.
That’s it. That’s the whole process. Just don’t try and refund or chargeback the $1 you paid afterwards, because Microsoft and Epic Games aren’t going to be too happy with you trying to stiff them for such a small fee.
Honestly, I’m not really sure what the thought process was here. And I know times are tight guys, but, a dollar? Seriously?
I can only assume that some folks have been trying to take advantage of this loophole on a much larger scale, by using multiple accounts, which is what led to Microsoft and Epic Games having to crack down on it.
