If you are on the lookout for a sci-fi narrative thriller which took the world by storm when it was first released just last year, then you are in luck as Xbox Game Pass has one for absolutely free.
Developed by Sunset Visitor, 1000xRESIST is a 2024 thrilling sci-fi adventure set in an unknown year.
After the spread of an alien disease spreads across Earth, its residents are forced to live underground and it is here that you take on the role of a Watcher. It is your duty and purpose to serve the ALLMOTHER and that is exactly what you have always wanted to do.
However, when you stumble across a life-changing secret one day, you soon discover that your path may not be as straightforward.

“In the near future we learn we are not alone in the universe. A mysterious alien race of giant entities arrives. We call them the Occupants,” the official synopsis reads.
“They are not hostile, but it doesn’t matter. Their arrival is a death sentence. Humanity is wiped out in a matter of months, succumbing to a disease the Occupants have brought to our planet.
There is one survivor, a teenage girl called Iris. Somehow she is immune.”

First arriving on PC and managing to bag itself an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive' rating on Steam, 1000xRESIST is now available on console and most importantly, available at no extra cost for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
Despite the recent increase in the cost of an Xbox Game Pass subscription, it seems as though 1000x RESIST is one reason why you would want to take advantage of it, according to one user over on r/XboxGamePass.
Why should I play it?
“If you care about story in games, you must play 1000xRESIST,” user Shoemaster shared recently.
“It starts disorienting and stays that way throughout, but in the best way.
It's one of the most propulsive narratives I've ever experienced.
Once the gas is fully on, it doesn't let up until the credits roll.”
Added to the Xbox Game Pass library earlier this week, it seems as though 1000xRESIST is already a fan favourite.
I played 1000xRESIST back in 2024 and it easily became one of my favourite releases of the year.
So much so that it is still highly underrated in my opinion and so I hope its arrival on the Xbox Game Pass library will see it get the time it deserves.
If you are interested in a solid narrative, intriguing characters and a beautiful art style, then you do not want to miss out on 1000xRESIST for a second year in a row.
