The survival genre is a big hit for gamers with players enjoying experiencing what it is like to be naked and afraid in procedurally generated worlds.
With games such as Valheim, ARK, The Forest, and RUST taking the genre by storm, it seems as though another survival game is on the horizon and this one may just stand amongst the best.
Inspired by survival games such as Valheim with the RPG elements of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Lost Isle is an upcoming open-world survival game set in a “unique and procedural fantasy world”.
Developed by Wunder Entertainment, Lost Isle has made its way to Steam ahead of its undetermined launch and fans of the genre already have their eye on its interesting sounding premise.

Set in a land bathed in cosmic powers, players will be expected to build their own settlement and protect it from monstrous beasts and other players alike as they use the magic of the land to forge their future.
“You sailed to the Lost Isle to stake your claim of wealth and glory, but after a violent storm, you were thrown overboard and washed ashore with nothing but a small knife and a single candle to light up the road,” the official Steam synopsis reads.
“Carve out of existence in an unforgiving environment disguised as a paradise. You are not the only survivor; everyone is after the same thing: staying alive.”
With every day being different from the last, how you approach your survival is entirely up to you.

Offering a medieval fantasy twist to the average survival game, Lost Isle players can also expect to dive into a world of both PvP and PvE with up to 200 players.
With alliances to build, enemies to make, bases to build and raids to be undertaken, you will never be short of something to do.
Lost Isle also presents a directional combat system which will reward players for achieving that juicy headshot but whether you become a wizard, archer, or a sword-wielding knight is completely up to you.
“Lost Isle differentiates from other open-world survival games in that it stems from the lore that the land the players are trapped in exists in an alternate earth setting,” the description continues.

“Taking place during the medieval period, the island itself is the prison-tomb of a fallen god named Mauroth - whose cosmic energies flow through the earth itself, into every root and vein.
As you explore, you will encounter flora and fauna, some familiar and others that do not grow in our world.”
As mentioned, Lost Isle is yet to receive an official release date but it is now available to wishlist on Steam.
