If you fancy trying a unique RPG experience, then look no further than IdleOn, an RPG/MMO that reportedly gets more complex the longer you play it.

Check out the trailer for IdleOn below.

While Steam isn’t short of role-playing games, IdleOn stands out for being entirely self-sustaining, which sounds odd, but go with it.

The game’s description reads: “The RPG where all your characters keep grinding where you left them! Choose classes & skill trees as they level up, and spend their loot to gain more power! Defeating World Bosses unlocks new gameplay features.”

As you probably gathered, IdleOn is a standard RPG but with a twist, your characters will do most of the work for you. Gone are the days of endlessly grinding enemy encounters to build your levels, the AI will do all the heavy lifting for you so all you need to do is decide where the stat points are going to go.

Several character classes are available from the beginning, like archers, warriors and magic users, and more will apparently be unlocked as you play. There are also multiple worlds for your characters to explore and grind in, giving you some variety and unlocking more monsters, rewards and secrets.

It’s a remarkably chilled-out experience, perfect if you want to play a standard RPG with a hands-free approach. You can even load up the game and leave it running in the background while you do other stuff to rack up plenty of experience and goodies.

IdleOn is currently in early access and is free to play for any and all Steam users.
