Following a Palworld update and the upcoming launch of LEGO’s first collaboration with The Pokemon Company, it seems as though the world is still eager to collect more monsters.
In recent days, Pokemon rival Palworld has announced that it will be delving into the world of trading card games with its very own deck expecting to launch later this year.
Not only that but The Pokemon Company itself is back with an announcement, revealing that it will be teaming up with LEGO to launch five sets: Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise recreated in block-y forms.
It seems as though, despite the Pokemon franchise beginning all the way back in 1996, fans are still in love with the monster-collecting genre, so much so that this upcoming title has clearly been inspired.

LumenTale: Memories of Trey is an upcoming monster-collector RPG set in a beautiful and enchanting world.
Developed by Beehive Studios, players will follow Trey as he embarks on an adventure to recover his missing memories as well as make some new ones alongside his Animon.
There are no guesses for correctly working out what his Animon are but if you are a fan of old-school Pokemon games, you will definitely love this one.
In LumenTale: Memories of Trey, players will discover an emotional tale of self-discovery as Trey adventures through a series of captivating regions, each with their own impressive cast of characters.
It's got that gorgeous Octopath 2.5D pixel art, blended with the modernism of Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Love it!

The Lore Behind Your Monster Pals
“From the everlasting darkness of war, these people were the beacon of light that brought people hope,” the official steam synopsis for LumenTale: Memories of Trey reads.
“The Lumen were born, and as guardians in their provinces, they ensure the safety of the residents of Talea, both the people and the Animon.”
Not much is known about the Animon, other than that they are made up of an energy that flows throughout the world and, as such, they have the ability to affect emotions and interact with other beings.
As you capture the Animon, you will become inseparable partners as you harness their elemental powers to aid you in your journey.
With each Animon having their own unique skills and abilities, you will be able to collect up to 140 species with 13 elemental types.
Then, of course, you will get to battle in thrilling 1v1 duels or epic 4v4 showdowns.
With the ability to trade, craft and train your Animon for battle, Pokemon fans will feel right at home with LumenTale: Memories of Trey when it launches later this year.
