Roguelikes can be such serious business at times that it can be quite thrilling when one comes along that puts the player having to meticulously plan on the back-burner in favour of just giving them as much fun in as short a time as possible.
BAPBAP is one such game, designed to bring you together with friends to cause as much chaos as it can. Each playthrough is divided into rounds, between each of which everyone gets to select a new power to kill the other players more easily. It's totally PvP and designed for each separate game to be played quickly. If you want to jump on solo, there are community-run servers where you can easily find a game.
There are a ton of different ways to get the killing job done and every ability can be dodged, so there's quite a lot of skill involved in emerging victorious consistently.
Both the premise and execution have received almost universal praise from fans and players, with many hailing the game as "top tier" next to its immediate competitors.

"BAPBAP is a brilliant, unpredictable blend of roguelike unpredictability and party-game zaniness—perfect for daredevil friends and chaotic strategists alike. Its creative flair and polished chaos make every session a story worth retelling. Just brace for the mayhem and occasional imbalance," one reads.
Another added, "It's a cute game. The sound design and music is top tier. The characters have mostly unique and cool aesthetics (Not the bowl of ramen, but I guess they're allowed one miss). The game is very responsive and feels smooth to play."
In even better news, the game is totally free to play on Steam and has just entered its 1.0 launch version, so you don't even have to risk any of your hard-earned pennies and pounds to jump on and get involved.
