Released last month as a free demo, Deadzone: Rogue is a roguelite, first-person shooter set in deep space.

Available on PC via Steam, this action shooter will see you slay hordes of enemies, loot powerful gear and customise your loadout for each unique run.

As you continue your journey, you will soon discover the truth behind your mission but all that matters is that you fight, die, revive, repeat.

Fight against biochemical enemies, each with unique combat styles as you pick weapons ranging from shotguns to all out phase walking.

With an original atmospheric soundtrack to accompany you on your journey, each death will bring you closer to learning your origin and most of all, closer to the truth.

Despite the demo only having been out for a few weeks, Deadzone: Rogue is already sitting at a ‘very positive’ rating on Steam.

So let us take a look at some of the reasons players are loving this FPS roguelite.

“Wow. I am impressed and hooked,” one positive review reads.

RNG gameplay loop, fun guns, decent and responsive AI enemies, just a good time overall. I really cannot wait for this game to come out soon!

Think rogue-like Borderlands, DOOM, and a touch of Destiny all wrapped into one.

Very fun.”

Another agreed, saying: “I've recently had the pleasure of diving into this indie shooting game, and overall, it's been a fantastic experience.

The game's unique charm and engaging mechanics make it a standout in a sea of similar titles. The graphics are impressive for an indie project, with a distinct art style that sets it apart from the usual fare.”

Deadzone: Rogue is now free to try out on Steam ahead of its full launch coming soon.
