Steam’s latest festival celebrating the racing genre is coming to an end in 48 hours, meaning many free trials will also come to a close.

The latest showcase from Steam, a festival dedicated to the racing genre, and all things vehicular, featured a bunch of great demos, as well as discounts across a host of games.

Steam Racing Fest not only reduces prices, but it gives players a chance to try out some awesome games without dropping any cash.

Games like Drift King, which tests your skills and car handling by having you drift through courses without damaging your car.

Trials Rising is a motorcycle game filled with stunts and requires some minute precision to work through each course as fast as possible, with as little crashing as you can manage.

The racing genre has always been incredibly popular, and with PC, players can use a number of control options, including full racing setups, which makes sale events like this so good.

It gives users a chance to try things out, make sure each game is for them, before parting with their hard-earned cash.

For pure racing, mixed with plenty of fancy stunts, look no further than Trackmania Turbo, which makes driving feel like playing with toys as a kid.

There’s still a need for skills, however, as the competition is not tame.

Of course, there are arcade games like Project Turboblast, which pulls from a more chaotic history of racing in games, with flashy visuals and ludicrous tricks.

And if you already own any of the best games on offer, there’s plenty of DLC reduced to low prices to further expand your experience.

But, you’ve only got another 48 hours to dive into everything on offer, play some demos, or buy something that has been on your wishlist for a while.
