Steam is back at it again with its next big event and this time, it celebrates some incredible third-person shooters.
The Steam TPS Fest kicked off yesterday and is set to run until 1 September at 10am Pacific.
As mentioned, it aims to celebrate third-person shooters by offering discounts to some of the most popular titles in this genre as well as showcasing demos for upcoming releases and even offering some for absolutely free.
On top of this, those amongst you who love nothing more than taking the time to decorate your Steam profiles are in luck as some free cosmetics have been added to the Steam Store to celebrate the ongoing event.

In the Points Shop, Steam users can grab an animated avatar, avatar frame, and animated sticker.
The avatar features a ‘bolt blaster’ against a pink background and an aim-down-sites graphic. It also spins!
As for the avatar frame, it is quite simple but we can assume that the ‘radiant edge’ will offer a dynamic frame when equipped.
Last but not least, the animated sticker is once again a ‘pulse pistol’ which is somehow different to the ‘bolt blaster’ even though it looks identical, albeit flipped. Yes, it also spins.

Hey, I don’t judge.
You can see the free cosmetics here and grab them at no extra cost throughout the Steam TPS Fest duration.
If you are more interested in the games side of the event, Steam recommends some incredible third-person shooters such as Control, Star Wars Outlaws, Sniper Elite 5, World War Z, The Callisto Protocol, and many, many more.
In his review for Star Wars Outlaws, our very own Sam Cawley praised its gorgeous environments and enjoyable player progression.

Make sure to take advantage of the limited-time deals and free demos until the Steam TPS Fest ends early next month.
