What better way to lose track of all time than diving into a brand-new MMORPG?

Well, that is now possible thanks to Chrono Odyssey which can be played ahead of release thanks to a playtest from developers Chrono Studio.

So what is Chrono Odyssey?

Well, it is an upcoming next-generation action MMORPG created entirely using Unreal Engine 5.

Spanning across a vast and intricately designed open-world and featuring dynamic, action-based combat based on time manipulation and extensive customisation, this epic adventure is definitely one to add to your wishlist.

As with many MMORPGs, it is the world that makes it and in Chrono Odyssey, players can expect seamless and unrestricted exploration across many different biomes including: grasslands, snowlands, swamps, and more.

So what makes it unique in the genre? Well, the addition of the Chronotector may just make Chrono Odyssey stand out.

“A “Chronotector” is an artifact which allows players to stop time around monsters or rewind a character's time, enabling more dynamic combat,” the official Steam description reads.

“You can explore past generations of the open world before environmental and historical events made sweeping changes to the land of Chrono Odyssey.”

Also as with many other MMORPGs, you will be able to team up with friends and get raiding thanks to a series of dungeons.

Even once you have finished the game, you can look forward to difficult dungeons which will push all the skills that you have learnt to the limit.

“If you’re strong enough, you might even be able to clear these formidable dungeons and raids on your own. You can also look forward to getting rewards for clearing dungeons, group dungeons, and PvP content.”

As mentioned, Chrono Odyssey does not yet have an official release date but those interested can now sign up to its playtest over on Steam.

So if you want an excuse to try out this epic MMORPG ahead of its launch, make sure you put your name forward.
