14 Free PC Games To Play In February, Everyone Say Thank You Steam

PC gamers are eating well

I don’t know about you but January definitely had me feeling the pinch when it came to money. I will need February to be a lot kinder to me.

As such, that probably means going on yet another game-buying ban but, if you are in the same boat as me, that does not mean that you need to miss out on finding a new game to play.

That is why PC gamers are in luck! Steam is back yet again with another batch of incredible games that can be played for absolutely free. It's no secret that sometimes, free games can be a bit hit or miss. Fortunately, I've been through and given each one of these my personal stamp of approval.

From idlers to roguelites, PvP raid shooters to the latest sports title, this list is guaranteed to have something to suit you.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at some freebies.

Free PC Games For Cosy/Casual Players

First up is Chicken Fren, an idler which you can have running in the background whilst you get on with your daily computer tasks.

Perfect for people who work at home, players will get to have their very own desktop chicken who, with each click of your mouse, will lay eggs full of must-have cosmetics. It really brightened up my day after writing about the pits of humanity.

On the other hand, Melon Man is a charming 2D platformer which will test both your platforming skills and your taste buds. In his quest to collect all melons, Melon Man needs your help in a vibrant and exciting adventure.

If you are looking for a fast-paced online co-op game, you will want Truckin It, a two-player delivery game where you will need to deliver cargo without making any mistakes.

Trust your partner, risk shortcuts but most importantly, get the cargo there in one piece.

Where We Went is a narrative driven puzzle game where you will step into the role of a mysterious character that must control ancient guardians in order to solve puzzles throughout a non-forgiving tomb.

On the topic of deliveries, Delivery & Beyond is a chaotic co-op game for up to five players, tasking them with breaking in, getting scrap and making that delivery.

For up to five players, this is a must-play for you and your friends.

There's Something For Tactics Fans Too

I wasn't expecting to enjoy Fortress Fury as much as I did. It's a survivor multiplayer tower defence roguelite where you need to defend your tower from hordes of ruthless enemies.

Buy weapons and upgrades to secure your defences and survive all waves to become the last tower standing.

Fans of Thrills, I've Got You Covered

Glassy Stare is a story-driven psychological experience where “memory fades, silence deepens, and something waits in the dark”.

Best experienced with no prior knowledge, this horror visual novel will definitely make a lasting impact.

In the psychological horror puzzle game Terminal Lucidity, you will work as a lone technician and it is up to you to crack the code of multiple terminals with their own rules.

If you are on the search for a fighting game, this isometric horror RPG made by just one developer has a blend of bullet hell mechanics and fighting game combat.

KNOCKOFF is like “nothing you’ve ever seen” and is available for free now.

Last but not least is Hellmart, a grocery store simulator with a twist.

Working as a clerk at a 24-hour supermarket, you will experience two very different environments.

During the day, you will need to stock the store and make those sales but by night, you will need to be aware of some slightly strange customers. Can you survive seven days on shift?

Best Free Shooters On Steam

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have heard of Highguard, the latest PvP raider on the market which is currently receiving less-than-positive reviews. There's a reason for that though, and it's not just because it's bad.

However, if you want to make your own mind up, you have nothing to lose as it is completely free to download and try out now.

On the other hand, Potion Knight is an intense and up-tempo first-person shooter combining speed and a whole lot of potion throwing.

With an unorthodox alchemist taking part in twisted experiments, it is up to you to stop him with your own alchemical knowledge.
