If you were on the hunt for a free Steam horror game to pass the time, then look no further than this frightful delight.
Horror is a very unique genre, whether it's TV and movies, novels or in the case of today’s story, video games. Despite being scared witless, we keep coming back for more punishment.
As my wife kept telling me when I played P.T back in the day, which turned me into a nervous wreck, “Why are you playing this?”. Sure, I finished P.T, but it came at the cost of my soul.
P.T was a short, and in its own weird way, a sweet experience, and was a “Playable Teaser” for Silent Hills starring Norman Reedus.

Sadly, P.T has been dead and buried by Konami for nearly a decade, but its spirit lives on in fantastic horrors such as Visage and MADiSON, both of which are much longer experiences.
However, if you would like to play a horror that can potentially be finished sooner than it would take to complete P.T, developed and published by the indie team at Tiny Studio, then Watertight could be worth your consideration.
“A short first-person horror game. An accident cripples your submarine while trying to find the wreck of the Titanic,” reads the description of the game on Steam. “In the darkness, you must restore life-support systems through tense puzzles, only to discover that you are not alone.”
At the time of writing, Watertight has a “Positive” Steam user review rating, and according to its dedicated store page, it should only take about 30 minutes to finish.

So, if you’re after a game to help pass a short amount of time as we draw near to Halloween season, look no further than Watertight. Just remember to have a spare pair of pants before playing.
