Steam Drops Delightful New Free Game With 100 Percent Positive Reviews

Steam has dropped a free game that is not only free, but it also has 100% positive reviews. It doesn't get much better than that.

We’ve all been there, duped by a trailer that totally misled us, resulting in us parting with our hard-earned cash and feeling massively disappointed. But at least with a free game, the only thing you have to worry about is the time you’ve spent with it.

Free games can come in a variety of forms. They might be a gift from a family member or friend. A freebie given away in a competition or one that is no extra cost with a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscription.

However, the game that is the topic of today’s discussion is free on the PC platform Steam, with no catch whatsoever. Just download it, and away you go.

The free Steam game in question is called Unknown Fluffy Object, developed and published by the indie team at Vancouver Film School.

“In Unknown Fluffy Object, you play as Buddy, a loyal sheepdog tasked with rescuing your flock from mysterious UFOs haunting the Scottish hills,” reads the synopsis of the game. “Each sheep has wandered far and wide, and it’s up to you to guide them home safely. Will you outsmart the UFOs’ baa-d schemes and bring every last sheep back to the pasture?”

At the time of writing, taken from 25 user reviews, Unknown Fluffy Object has a 100% “Positive” rating. Here’s what some of the community had to say:

Despite having nothing but “Positive” rated reviews, some of the users mentioned that Unknown Fluffy Object doesn't have the best controller support. So, hopefully, the developer can fix that at some point.

Other than that minor piece of negative feedback, it looks like Unknown Fluffy Object is a fun game to play, especially for one that won’t cost you a penny.
