A new Steam game is seriously impressing cosy gamers with a love for architecture.

Escaping to some idyllic region where all your worries slide away like water off a duck’s back is what most cosy players live for.

But sometimes we long for more.

This is what this overwhelmingly positive reviewed new experience offers.

Create what your heart desires in Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade is a “small diorama builder”, allowing you to create the kinds of whimsical buildings we see in the indie adventures we frequent.

“Explore gridless building chemistry as the game adorns your glades with procedural detail. No management, combat or goals: just kick back and turn forgotten meadows into lovable dioramas,” its Steam description reads.

That sounds pretty chill to us, and we’re here for it.

“I've been eagerly following Tiny Glade's development and bought it the moment it launched,” posted Erato.

“This charming diorama builder has all the makings of a cosy game classic, perfectly scratching that ‘I wish I could build that!’ itch you get when wandering through a beautiful landscape in a beloved fantasy world or the countryside of rural Europe.”

Another PC reviewer said, “I could spend a long time just zoning out and making lots of cosy buildings! Very relaxing!”

“This game is so cute and cosy and so much fun if you love trying to design your own castles or little medieval towns. I LOVE this game and was so happy when it was finally released!” raved Steam user Val.

Noticing a pattern here?

If you’re not sold on the premise of Tiny Glade, you can explore its free download to see if it’s the right kind of experience for you.

Once you’ve tried out this freebie and realised how amazing a game it is, you can bag an additional bargain thanks to its retail price being discounted.

Until 3 October, users can get Tiny Glade for £10.87.
