The weather is heating up and what better way to celebrate it than to boot up a cozy simulation game that costs absolutely nothing to enjoy?

Well, that could be you this weekend thanks to Steam adding a brand-new game to its PC storefront.

So if you are a fan of cosy farming simulators such as Stardew Valley or Coral Island, then you will love this new addition to the genre.

Check out the trailer for Stardew Valley below!

Developed by MoraCoco, Island Robot Farm does exactly what it says on the tin by allowing players to build a large island complete with its own robot inhabitants.

In this idle farm simulation title, players can assign tasks to their robots and watch over them as they plant crops, raise animals and build various different buildings around your tropical island.

Not only that but this will be the perfect game to run at all times as even when you are not active, your robot companions will still get on with their tasks in the background.

Ahead of its full launch, Island Robot Farm now has a free demo to try out over on Steam.

This will allow players to learn the basics of the game such as planting around 10 different types of crops, building 10 buildings, and meeting five kinds of robots.

In comparison, the full release will feature 40+ crops, 30 buildings and a large catalogue of robots to suit different tasks around the island.

That is because each robot has different abilities and matching the robot to the correct task will vastly improve your island.

Planting crops will yield income for your island and raising animals in order to gather their product will expand both your resources and profit.

“Freely place each block of land, build and decorate a unique island. With the development of technology, obtain buildings with various functions, collect and unlock various items, and build an automated and huge island farm together with the robots,” the official synopsis reads.

The Island Robot Farm demo is now free to try out on Steam ahead of its full launch.
