With the weekend finally here, what better way to celebrate than by diving into a brand-new game that is definitely one of the most beautiful games we have ever seen.

Developed by The Game Bakers, Cairn is an upcoming survival-climber game that will quite literally take your breath away.

Set to launch later this year, Cairn is now available to try out for free courtesy of a Steam demo and you do not want to miss out on an atmospheric journey up the unforgiving Mount Kami.

Players will need to reach the summit of the formidable mountain by planning their route carefully. As a result, they will be able to approach the climb however they like as well as manage their resources in order to survive the ascent of a lifetime.

Cairn features a realistic climbing simulation meaning that players will need to find the best holds for both their hands and feet, adapt their posture, keep an eye on their balance and most importantly, try not to fall.

Our main character Aava may be a pro climber but this is a peak that has never been reached before and as she climbs, she will come across all manner of unexpected companions who teach her about the history of the mountain.

Aava will have to ask herself how much she is willing to sacrifice to achieve her dream.

“You are free to climb anywhere. Explore the mountain, read the rock face from the ground and plan your route carefully to reach the top. Solve problems while on the wall to navigate difficult sections. You can climb on anything, so choose your path wisely!” The steam description reads.
