We all loved going to the carnival as children, a place full of colourful lights and whimsy but this upcoming horror game may have us avoiding them in the future.

Carnival Hunt is an upcoming multiplayer survival horror game from Beer Night Studio. With nods to fellow survival horror titles, Dead By Daylight and Resident Evil, this asymmetric first-person scream-fest will keep you and your friends on your toes.

Check out our Resident Evil 4 review below if you're looking for more horror!

“Circus is loud, circus has a crowd. Circus is fun, you’re never done, but now … Circus is silent, Circus is violent. No time for fun, you’ll need to run,” the official synopsis warns.

With one player taking on the role of the twisted Carnival Monster, the rest of the team will take on the role of the Bunnies but with each side needing to survive, it is an all-out war.

Each team will need to charge to survive with Bunnies needing to escape the Carnival Monster by exhausting all of their wind-up keys. If the Carnival Monster’s charge runs out, the Bunnies win.

However, Bunnies will still need to keep each other charged up but be aware that the loud wind-up sounds will draw the attention of the Monster itself.

The Carnival Monster can present in a variety of forms including The Magician, The Hunt or Eyeball and with each type comes a specific set of abilities designed to lure those Bunnies out.

Whether you play possum or head for those objectives, the key is to survive and with no two games the same, you never know how it will turn out. What is clear, however, is finding those keys is quite literally the key to your survival so gather your friends and get searching.

Carnival Hunt is coming soon to Steam but can already be added to your wish list.
