Steam drops over 20 free downloads in massive limited-time giveaway

If you are after loads of Steam games that you can download and play for free today, then you’re in the right place.

There’s not much worse as a gamer when you save up money and spend your hard-earned cash on a game you were looking forward to that ended up being absolute pants. Thankfully, whether you game on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo, there are plenty of free demos to play before you get spending.

One such place packed full of free demos to download and play today is the Steam store for PC offering something for just about everyone. Right now, Steam is hosting a sci-fi-themed event and I’ve managed to pick out 20 demos that will hopefully tickle your fancy:

• The Planet Crafter: “A space survival open world terraforming crafting game, designed for 1 to 10 players. Alter the ecosystem of an inhospitable planet to render it habitable for humanity.”
