Skyrim, Valheim, The Sims collide in hugely ambitious new RPG

This looks fun!

A new RPG is on the way that resembles the lovechild of Skyrim, Valheim, and The Sims.

When it comes to fantasy RPGs, there aren’t many games that have done it better than Bethesda’s ever-popular The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A game released nearly 15 years ago, but to this day, fans cannot get enough.

Whether it’s the epic main story campaign, unexpected discoveries when embarking on side-missions or fighting mythical beasts, there’s a lot to love about Skyrim.

As for Valheim, much like Skyrim, it’s an RPG inspired by Norse mythology; however, what massively sets it apart from the Bethesda title is that it’s an online RPG and relies heavily on its survival and crafting mechanics.

Then we have The Sims from EA, a game that made its debut on PC in 2000 and is still going strong, with its fanbase never tiring of playing god and causing all sorts of mayhem in the lives of the poor NPC characters, otherwise known as Sims.

So, if an ambitious game comes along that blends elements from Skyrim, Valheim and The Sims, it has the recipe to be a fun experience. One such game is the new RPG, Legacy of Valor, coming to Steam.

“Build, lead, trade, and fight to create a lasting legacy. Expand your village, build a castle, protect your people, and guide them through wars, prosperity, and history in a living medieval world,” reads the synopsis of Legacy of Valor, developed and published by Filip Husák.

After watching its gameplay trailer on the Steam store, I was instantly hit with nostalgic Skyrim vibes when the music for Legacy of Valor played.

Then, when the gameplay rolled, I could instantly see why it can be compared to Skyrim, Valheim and The Sims. It does look like Legacy of Valor has all the potential to be an indie hit.

There is currently no release date for Legacy of Valor, but you can request to take part in its playtest via Steam. Also, be sure to wishlist it, so that you can be notified of any updates.
