This upcoming 2.5D life-sim RPG on Steam looks like an adorable mix between the early The Legend of Zelda titles, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Stardew Valley – and I need it ASAP.
Call of Elyndra from developer and publisher Quorum Games is set to release “soon” according to its developers, at least if its latest trailer is anything to go by, but “soon” isn’t soon enough for me.
Luckily for me (and you), there’s a demo! And the reviewers on Steam are extremely complimentary.

“As a debut game it is a lovely work. there's a lot of nostalgia to be found for anyone who grew up playing games like Legend of Zelda, and Harvest Moon”, writes reviewer Tathalia.
“It's apparent there was a lot of love put into this game. Even in the demo, it was a hard search to find any issues in gameplay… I'm well and truly looking forward to playing full release.”
“Absolutely fell in love with this game! I am definitely going to romance Emeric in the full game if possible, haha! Lovely story for the demo, great interactions, crafting, exploring and light farming,” writes user BBtheBEE ttv.
“This feels like it should 100% have controller support. But all round I'm excited for the full release and will play again in my own time away from streams if there is no CS on release. It's still a cosy vibe with great puzzler dungeons and a fun light farm life with cute characters.”

The latest Steam Dev update for the Call of Elyndra also states that, after having moved the game over to a new engine, most of the technical issues the reviewers brought up in the demo have now been fixed – which makes it all the more impressive that the game is set to drop soon.
