Hogwarts Legacy and Valheim fans will want to put this new upcoming RPG on their radars.
With the smell of latte in the air - or even a butterbeer - this cosy new RPG coming to Steam in June will transform your late-night gaming sessions into a sepllbinding affair of colour, magic, and survivalist nature.
When it comes to enjoying serenity with a wand in hand, Hogwarts Legacy set the bar with its enchanting exploration of the castle. But it left a lot to be desired when it came to its extra-curricular activities.
Valheim, however, has no struggle in this department, with the early-access survival sandbox being more than plentiful when it comes to its brutal exploration and entertaining combat.

So what happens when the Hogwarts Legacy and Valheim worlds collide? Well... Witchspire.
Described in our preview as a cosy-fied softening of the survival genre with scaling difficulty, Witchspire serves as a 'survival game for people who don’t like survival games' and a satisfying grind for those who do dwell in the long-grinding community.
Full of spellcasting, broom flying, and wizardry - the kinds that wouldn't look out of place coming from the hands of Hermione Granger - the title combines its fun aesthetic with the world-building that makes Valheim so rewarding.
Fighting and taming aetherial beings and familiars along the way to building your base of operations, the game puts your skills to the test when you want to, but can equally scratch that relaxing itch that one also gets taking a horse for a trot across a plain field in Red Dead Redemption. Bliss.
It joins many titles that have tried to find some middle ground between the magical world and survival grind, but with a fun, animated appearance, you won't be lacking for entertainment when learning your (witch)craft here.
Kicking things off on 10 June 2026, the survival RPG will be available to be played in single-player or online co-op through Steam, with a full build releasing roughly a year later.
"We want to build Witchspire to stand the test of time, and be a world you'll want to return to again and again. We believe that the best way to achieve this vision is to open the doors for early feedback and work with the community to make the best experience possible," the developers said.
So, be prepared to be spellbound by this title, as it will definitely cast an entrapment hex on anyone who enjoys comfortable nights in an immersive world.
