We could finally be seeing some new Hogwarts Legacy content very soon.

It was last year that Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier teased the existence of a possible extended director’s cut of the first game.

While nothing has yet officially manifested, Schreier doubled down on the claim just last week, adding that a sequel had also entered development.

What would you like to see more of in a Hogwarts Legacy sequel? Personally, I’m hoping for a slightly more inspired open-world, perhaps with a larger focus on mini-games like Summoner’s Court or Crossed Wands.

I know for many that it was the Room of Requirement that stood out as the game’s crowning feature, a space that you could personalise as your own.

If you’re someone who spent hours upon hours turning your Room of Requirement into an interior work of art, you may want to check out the cosy sim The Fool’s Apprentice.

The Fool’s Apprentice is somewhat of a cross between Hogwarts Legacy and The Sims.

It’s a wizard academy management sim in which you’ll take on the role of a professor who must guide and teach their various apprentices.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is another title Wizarding World fans can enjoy.

“The Fool's Apprentice is a magic school simulator that puts you in the position of Arcanist Tharn, a mage from a prestigious family by the same name,” reads the synopsis.

“As this accomplished wizard, you will shepherd your many woefully unskilled apprentices towards a modicum of knowledge... by ensuring they cannot possibly step outside the bounds of proper curriculum. Levitate them, toss them around, control their minds or wipe them, and even throw them into portals to other worlds!”

Yes, you read that right. The fates of your apprentices are totally at your whim, with some possibly even not surviving your course.

Will you be a good professor or a bad professor? I suppose the answer to that question lies in whether you opted to learn the Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy or not.

The Fool’s Apprentice remains without a release date, but it is scheduled to land on Steam by the end of March at the latest as it’s down for a Q1 launch.

In the meantime, you can check it out courtesy of its free demo which is available to download now.
