There is no denying that Elden Ring has cemented itself as a must-play title in video gaming as the FromSoftware title continues to make its mark as a modern-day classic.
However, there is also no denying that the concept of playing such an iconic game is pretty daunting, especially considering it is a souls game and an open-world one at that.
I felt the same and that is why I only played Elden Ring for the first time earlier this year but much like everybody who does venture into the Lands Between, I quickly fell in love with the world that FromSoftware has created.
With Elden Ring Nightreign following in its predecessor’s footsteps, many fans are returning to the hit RPG but if you are yet to play Elden Ring, one kind fan is giving you the opportunity to play it for free.

At the time of writing, Elden Ring currently costs £49.99 on Steam and although this is a perfectly acceptable price for such a masterpiece of a game, getting it for free will be all the better.

Following the success of Elden Ring’s first DLC Shadow of the Erdtree, fans are hopeful that more content will be added in the future.
However, there is no denying that Shadow of the Erdtree offers players everything they wanted and more.
Our very own Sam Cawley called the DLC “a graceful journey’s end” in his review.

“All in all, Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree is a fitting conclusion to FromSoftware’s biggest, and most-successful title to date,” he wrote.
“It guides the player by the hand into a brand-new world of mystery and intrigue, treats them to some of the most memorable fights in the series, and rounds things off the only way FromSoftware knows how, leaving you wondering what the hell just happened.”
