Lovers of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag can rejoice to learn that a brand-new pirate-inspired title is on the way with this one pushing your survival skills to the limit.
If you are an advocate for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag receiving a remake or remaster but notice that the pleas of fans are going unanswered by Ubisoft, you may want to turn your attention elsewhere in the meantime and luckily, this upcoming release may just do the trick.
Combining the beloved Assassin’s Creed entry with survival games such as Valheim, Crosswind is the latest open-world survival craft on the market which just so happens to star our pirate friends.
Developed by Crosswind Crew and marked with a “coming soon” release date on Steam, Crosswind is a survival adventure set during the Age of Piracy.

Whether you fight at sea or on land or play solo or with friends, you are guaranteed hours of pirate-related fun.
“Crosswind is a survival game set in an alternative Age of Piracy,” the official Steam synopsis reads.
“It features the classic “build, craft, survive” formula and challenging boss fights, complementing it with sea battles, boarding actions and seamless ship-to-land gameplay.
