Skyrim fans find stunning hidden quest that you almost definitely missed

We're not even made we missed this because we get to go back and play Skyrim again

When it comes to secrets, Skyrim is a video game with no chill.

Say what you want about Bethesda, but it did a cracking job with Skyrim. For years, we’ve searched every inch of the map eager to find every shred of detail, and more often than not, we come away with a new find to share.

One discovery is an “obscure quest” that many Elder Scrolls players miss out on during their first, second, and sometimes even their third playthrough.

Here we go playing Skyrim again...!

“The East Empire Company quest given by the guard at the docks is one I'm sure gets overlooked,” suggested Redditor Gloomy-Helicopter113.

It seems they’re not wrong about many missing this mission.

“I didn’t know this quest existed for a full decade,” admitted one player, and honestly, there’s no shame in that admission. This is one of those quests you can easily miss, yet it goes hard.

Fans who’ve been fortunate enough to play this hidden quest already have nothing but praise for it, with one player saying, “Truly one of my favourite quests, especially when I first started playing.”

They added, “Seems like I had an easier time at the end as a teenager than I do now, though...”

We’ve all been there, buddy – growing older sneaks up on you, but there’s signs to let you know your glory days are behind you.

Should you be one of those who’ve been there, done that and need a new secret to discover, may we suggest you hunt for the super secret loot room? We suspect few of you have found it.

Besides hidden gems to unearth, there’s also hints at where The Elder Scrolls VI will take us, as it seems the upcoming title has been discovered in Skyrim. It’s like an RPG turducken.

Where else will Skyrim take us, and what secrets will we find along the way? Who knows, but we’re down for yet another romp through this epic game.
