Uncharted fans losing it over free DLC you can claim now

Unfortunately, there is one small glaring issue

Uncharted fans have just been treated to a very specific Uncharted 4-themed gift, but said gift is only available in that other, highly successful Naughty Dog series (spoiler alert: it’s not Crash Bandicoot).

As revealed yesterday on Naughty Dog’s official blog, The Last of Us Part II Remastered just got a brand new update that’s available on both PlayStation 5 and PC.

Patch 2.1.0 (or Patch 1.5 if you're on PC) adds something absolutely nobody has been asking for: a new "Chronological" mode.

This mode allows you to play through The Last of Us Part II Remastered’s story in, you guessed it, chronological order, flipping between Abby and Ellie’s stories in the actual timeframe in which they took place.

And what does any of this have to do with Uncharted, you may ask?

Well, completing the new Chronological mode unlocks two new skins for Joel and Tommy in The Last of Us Part II Remastered’s No Return mode, which lets them cosplay as Nathan and Sam Drake.

So, how do the fans over on the r/uncharted subreddit feel about the new addition?

They’re pretty happy, although they can’t help but be a bit tongue in cheek about the whole thing (understandably).

“Well that’s a surprise, pretty cool though,”,= commented user erikaironer11.

“But… but Nate didn't have his ring anymore in Uncharted 4,” replied user ScrapMationS. “Awesome anyway tho."

There is one issue with this whole thing, though … the skins are the wrong way around.

Look, I get why they did it this way. Nathan and Joel are the protagonists of both games, so it makes sense for them to swap outfits.

But I can’t be the only one that’s annoyed by the fact that Troy Baker voiced Sam Drake and Joel, and yet Joel doesn’t get the Sam Drake skin. Again, I get it, it’s just annoying me.
