Being the team behind some of everybody’s favourite video game franchises is no easy task but Naughty Dog seem up to the task with a brand-new rumour hinting at the studio secretly working on an unannounced title.
As the brains behind the likes of The Last of Us and the Uncharted franchises, Naughty Dog has all eyes on it as it now focuses its attention on its brand-new IP, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
However, that has not stopped fans from speculating on what else Naughty Dog is working on, especially in regards to a possible The Last of Us Part III or Uncharted 5.
Well, a recent rumour hints that the latter may just be possible as the studio has reportedly been working on an unannounced game for the past three years.

This leak comes courtesy of well-known insider DanielRPK who took to his paywalled Patreon page to share this news about Naughty Dog.
According to him, the studio is working on this unannounced project alongside Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and it is not The Last of Us Part III.
Additionally, he shares that the project is being headed by Shaun Escayg who is most known for directing Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
“Naughty Dog has a second project (not The Last of Us III), directed by Shaun Escayg (Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Avengers)”, the post reads.

“It’s been in development for three years now.”
Of course, this unnamed project has not been confirmed by Naughty Dog and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
However, if true, it could see Escayg return to perhaps work on the highly-anticipated Uncharted 5.
As you can imagine, the sheer possibility has made fans lose their minds and they took to social media to share their thoughts.

“Bro, don’t play with my heart,” one Twitter user said.
Another agreed, adding, “Hoping this is true as it would be nice to get something different instead of another remaster of The Last Of Us.”
Only time will tell if this leak is true but fingers crossed that we will be seeing more of Nathan Drake, or perhaps his daughter Cassie, in the future.
