Sony has dropped three new rewards for the PlayStation 5 exclusive, Ghost of Yōtei.
This year, Sony scrapped its popular PlayStation Stars rewards scheme that rewarded players with points for completing easy campaigns. Those points could then be redeemed against free games, microtransactions and PS Store credit.
It was a fantastic reward scheme, which earned me around £60 in free store credit, and I would imagine that many PlayStation gamers earned much more than I did. It was a disappointing time when Sony placed PS Stars on the chopping block.
Instead, Sony replaced PlayStation Stars with PlayStation Rewards. This new scheme allows players to buy exclusive merch, depending on what trophies they’ve earned for a particular game.

The first game featured in PlayStation Rewards was Ghost of Tsushima, which allowed you to buy a snazzy t-shirt if you earned the ‘Mono No Aware’ Gold Trophy. The second reward is the ‘Living Legend’ enamel pin badge inspired by its Platinum Trophy.

What Ghost of Yotei rewards can you buy?
Three new rewards have been added to PlayStation Rewards for Ghost of Yōtei, which include a t-shirt, pin badge and the $150/€169 jacket.
To buy the $30/€33 shirt, you’ll need to earn ‘The Onryo Rests’ Gold Trophy in Ghost of Yōtei. The ‘Legendary Onryo’ Platinum Trophy for the enamel pin badge ($25/€28), and ‘The Onryo Rests’ Gold Trophy for the jacket.
The jacket is quite pricey, but it does look very cool. It’s worth keeping in mind that, especially with the jacket, you will likely pay customs charges for importing, on top of the standard delivery fee.
In the case of the jacket, being exported from Holland, it costs a total of €182.80 (about £161), and that’s without the EU customs charge coming into the UK. There is also a separate PlayStation Rewards page for the US.
As for the t-shirt and pin badge, delivery costs will be a bit lower, and due to the cost of each item, you won't be charged customs if purchased individually, but a charge may occur if purchased together. Saying that, it may still work out cheaper buying them together, saving on delivery, despite potentially being charged at customs.
As much as I love the look of that jacket, I think my wife might kill me if I buy another jacket (seriously, I have way too many). So I might settle for the Ghost of Yōtei pin badge instead to go with my Ghost of Tsushima version, when that eventually arrives.
Ghost of Yōtei is out now on PlayStation 5.
